Welcome to the Central Church of Christ. We are a church seeking to follow Jesus Christ faithfully according to the teaching of Scripture. We want our worship, our relationships, and our everyday lives to reflect the faith we read about in the New Testament.

We want to be Christians—nothing more and nothing less. That means Jesus is at the center of everything we do. We look to Scripture to teach us who He is, what He has called us to do, and how He wants us to live.
Worshiping God Together
We seek to worship God as He has taught us in Scripture—with reverence, joy, and wholehearted participation. Each week we gather around the Lord’s Supper, sing together a cappella, pray, and open God’s Word as a congregation.
Following Jesus Every Day
Following Jesus is more than what happens when we gather. We want His teaching to shape how we work, serve, speak, love, forgive, and treat our neighbors. As Jesus taught, we seek to let our light shine so others can see Him through our lives.
Walking With One Another
Christianity was never meant to be lived alone. We share life together—encouraging one another, bearing burdens, serving one another, and helping each other remain faithful to Christ through both the joys and trials of life.
What to Expect on Your First Visit
Visiting a church for the first time can bring questions. We want you to know what to expect and feel at home when you arrive. Our worship is simple, participatory, and centered on God’s Word. Here is what you can expect when we gather on Sunday.
Congregational Singing
We sing together as a congregation, using our voices to praise God and encourage one another. Our singing is a cappella, without instrumental accompaniment, and every person is invited to participate.
Praying Together
Throughout our assembly, men from the congregation lead us in prayer. We bring our praise, thanksgiving, needs, and requests before God together as a church family.
Opening God's Word
Our teaching comes from Scripture and is intended to help us understand God’s Word and live it faithfully. We encourage everyone to open their Bible, listen carefully, and examine what is taught for themselves.
Remembering Jesus
Each Sunday, we share the Lord’s Supper as we remember Jesus’ sacrifice for us. We partake of unleavened bread and the fruit of the vine as we remember His body and blood and proclaim His death until He comes.
An Offering for Our Members
Each Sunday, members of the congregation have an opportunity to give toward the work of the church and the needs of others. If you are visiting with us, please don't feel any pressure to give. You are our guest.
